"A Glimpse Behind The 3rd Penang Island Jazz Festival (2006)
The Penang Island Jazz Festival (2006) was officially launched last Friday, Oct 27, 2006 at Bangkok Jazz.
Organised by Capricorn Connections and presented by Daimler Chrysler, the 3rd edition of the Festival runs from 30th November till 3rd December 2006 once again at the Bayview Beach Resort in Batu Ferringhi, on the beautiful tropical island of Penang.

The Festival has been attracting quite a large following, both locally and internationally with its significance and popularity attested to by the one hundred applications sent in by bands all around the world.
Little wonder, then that the organiser has allowed for the admission of volunteers who want to contribute positively and be a part of the festival."
